While Anna Duggar was said to have gone to visit her family shortly after the news of her husband's Ashley Madison sex scandal broke, it's now being reported that the 19 Kids and Counting reality star has since been living with her four kids inside a closet in Jim Bob and Michelle's mega-mansion. According to the latest gossip news updates, Josh's parents fear that Anna might push for a divorce in the wake of their son's disgusting behavior, so they bought a spare 3,800 square foot home as a potential peace offering. Although a $345,000 house seems like quite the olive branch, word has it that Jim Bob is willing to do almost anything to talk Anna out of wanting to split.
Although she wasn't the one that was caught in numerous sex scandals resulting in Josh having to sell their home, Anna Duggar is supposedly having to pay for it.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of In Touch claims that since her husband has gone away to rehab, Anna Duggar and her four children have been living in a room usually reserved for her in-laws spare jackets:
"Anna and her kids have been sleeping in a closet on the second floor of the Duggar family home."
From the way IT's informant makes it sound, Anna's placement in the closet could be a calculated decision to make the house that Jim Bob appears to be offering in exchange for her staying with Josh seem like an ever sweeter deal:
"Jim Bob has hinted to his daughter-in-law Anna that she could get the house...Offering Anna the home is a ploy to get her to abandon any idea of divorcing Josh.
"She'll be going form sleeping in a closet to living in a mansion!"
Although it looks like Anna might be coming out a head if she really wasn't ready to divorce Josh anyway, Hollywood Life's insider claims that Jim Bob really wouldn't know what to do if his daughter-in-law ultimately balks at the proposition:
"This is more than just about saving their marriage, in Jim Bob's eyes, he's fighting to save the entire family. If Anna leaves Josh it will be the nail in his coffin for Josh and the rest of the family.
"Getting Anna back in line and on board is priority one right now."
