It seems that Josh Duggar's sex scandals have taken their toll on his parents' marriage as well as his own. According to the latest gossip news updates, 19 Kids and Counting's Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are also seeking faith based relationship counseling in the wake of the revelations that not only is their son a child molester but a lecher as well. Meanwhile it's also just recently been revealed that Josh and Anna Duggar have sold their home in Arkansas since his checking in to sex rehab, leading folks to speculate that the religious reality stars definitely getting a divorce.
For all their posturing surrounding the their son, Josh, being found out for a teenage child molester and full grown philanderer, it seems that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar could use a little help remembering what makes their marriage so great.
Last Sunday, the 19 Kids and Counting parents announced via Facebook that they were headed to a faith base retreat -- much like the one their son was sent -- to refocus on the positives in their relationship (via Radar Online):
"We are having a special time at the www.fortrock.org marriage retreat in Saint Paul, Arkansas on the edge of the Ozark National Forest!
"Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful truths!"
In the new promo for her upcoming TLC special, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Josh's 22-year-old sister and former victim, Jessa Duggar, recalled how traumatizing having the tales of her abuse reported on night and day was for her (via US Weekly):
"Here I am, most joyful time in my life -- newlywed, baby on the way -- and then... We were devastated. Like, we couldn't believe it."
If the fact that they have officially sold their family home in Arkansas is any indicator, it appears that Anna Duggar is ready to be done with her secret keeping husband.
It turns out one of the reasons that Anna is staying with her family in Florida -- perhaps forever -- reports In Touch, is she and Josh actually sold their home just days after the Ashley Maddison scandal broke:
"According to documents, the five-bedroom home was sold to Duggar family friend and lawyer Travis Story on August 24.
"The sale was just five days after it was revealed that Josh was a member of cheating website Ashley Madison."
What do you think of the Duggar family at this point?
Are they all nothing more than a bunch of hypocritical holy rollers looking to make a reality TV fortune off of their false piety?
Or, is it wrong to judge the whole family just because one of its members appears to clearly be morally bankrupt?
Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment field below.
