After being victimized not once but twice by her brother's bad behavior, who would really blame Jessa Duggar if she decided to sell her 19 Kids and Counting family up the river for a shot at regaining her reality TV fame. According to the latest gossip news updates, the uber-religious pregnant 22-year-old has a shot at getting her own show on TLC, but only if she is ultimately willing to condemn the behavior of her parents Jim Bob and Michelle as well as Josh's wicked ways. Judging by the recent Tweet Jessa shared that suggested that her brother was never really a Christian, however, Ben Seewald's devout wife is more than ready to call out her family for their sins.
Word has it that in the wake of losing one of its biggest ratings draws, TLC is hoping to make a few more TV specials the revolve around the less controversial members of the former 19 Kids an Counting cast.
The network reportedly has plans to make one special about the birth of Jessa Duggar's first baby, but the 22-year-old reality star is said to be hoping to parlay the one-off doc into a whole new spin-off series.
One source in the latest October 12, issue of Life & Style insists that if Jessa ever really wants to be taken seriously be the network again, she is going to have to publicly distance herself from the rest of the clan as soon as possible:
"The only way she is ever going to get her own full-time series is to condemn the behavior of her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle.
"[But] she is willing to criticize her own flesh and blood as long as it ensures a future for her and Ben."
Jessa already took the first step of calling out her family's religious hypocrisy at the begging of last month when she shared a sermon by father-in-law on Twitter that implied outright that Josh Duggar was not a Christian (via Yahoo!):
"[Josh] claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise."
What do you think about Jessa supposed opportunity to sacrifice the loyalty to her old family for the financial security of her new one?
Is it wrong for Jessa to try to make money of the rest of the Duggar's difficulties?
Or, is it about time the Jessa did something other than allowing her falsely pious parents to continue to exploit her?
