Despite sending years with Dodgeball Lothario Justin Long, Amanda Seyfried doesn't appear to be having any trouble moving on since their split. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Ted 2 actress is currently spending so much time with her ex-boyfriend, Dominic Cooper, that it has his current girlfriend, Ruth Negga, worried that she might soon be pushed out of the picture. Word has it the the 29-year-old Big Love beauty has also been spotted out on what appears to have been a lunch date as early as October 2, while Long was reportedly still reeling from the breakup behind closed doors.
Ruth Negga might have thought that she got rid of Amanda Seyfried back in 2010 when she reportedly stole her then boyfriend, Dominic Cooper, fair and square, but apparently she was wrong.
One source in the latest November 9, issue of Star magazine claims that since her split with Long, Seyfried has been calling up Cooper again both night and day -- very much to Negga chagrin:
"Dominic's been a shoulder to cry on since Amanda split from Justin.
"Ruth is exactly comfortable with the amount of time these two spend talking every day, but she knows there's no point in picking a fight.
"Ruth pretends to be fine with them being friend, but she hopes Amanda finds another boyfriend -- and quick -- because she's tired of sharing hers."
According to a report from the Daily Mail at the beginning of the month it looked as though Amanda was certainly doing her part to find a replacement for Justin post haste:
"It looks like Amanda Seyfried is already ready to mingle.
"The 29-year-old was spotted out with a mystery man for a lunch outing at Madeo Restaurant in the West Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
"They appeared to be rather cozy with one another as they chatted it up while waiting for their cars in the valet queue. "
Sadly, Justin Long isn't said to have bounced back from the breakup quite so well as his ex-girlfriend.
A friend of Justin's told Us Weekly around the same time as Amanda's day date that Long was still doing his best to come to terms with their love affair ending in failure:
"It happened a few weeks ago...He's really heartbroken."
