These two teams hate each other and the adrenaline that is added into the game with the rematch of last years Western Conference Finals will add even more into the game. Houston feels like they are a better team this year than they were last, while the Warriors are looking to prove that they are still the cream of the crop in the West.

Stephen Curry is the NBA's reigning MVP and put up a massive game in Golden State's season opener. He scored 40 points to go along with seven assists and six rebounds on the night against the New Orleans Pelicans. There won't be many nights when he doesn't dominate the game.

James Harden was a candidate for the MVP award last season and is looking to get back at Curry for taking the honors. He is surrounded by a very talented roster, but they will only go as far as he is able to take them.

Simply seeing those two players go at each other in the scoring column makes this game worth tuning into.

Curry and the Warriors dominated Houston in their head-to-head matchups last season and are hoping to do so again. He took the time ahead of tonight's game to discuss why his team was so successful last year against the Rockets and what they must do this season to continue that success.

"Obviously, we had great success against them last year," said Curry, "But that's because we were focused every single night to the game plan and sticking to it."

Those words simply give the Rockets more bulletain board material as they look to prove that they are worthy contenders for the Warriors. Expect to see some emotion tonight throughout the game and it wouldn't be surprising to see a scuffle or two. Whenever Dwight Howard and Andrew Bogut are put on the floor, there is the potential for a shove or two.

All of that being said, we have to go with the Warriors in this game. Houston is going to put up a fight with Ty Lawson being on board and Harden leading the way, but Golden State is still the better all-around team until Houston can prove differently.

Houston vs. Golden State Final Score Prediction: Warriors 114, Rockets 106
