Last-Minute Fantasy Advice Week 7: 5 Available Pickups to Replace Injured Starters

It's Saturday night and if you've been lazy about checking your fantasy football lineups for Week 7 and need a quick spot-starter for any guys who may not play tomorrow due to injury, look no further. Whether you're worried about Adrian Peterson missing tomorrow's game with an illness or perhaps Odell Beckham Jr.'s hamstring knocking him out last-minute unexpectedly, you can find five guys who should be available in almost any league below (even though they have good outlooks for their game tomorrow or Monday).

5. Rishard Matthews, WR, Miami Dolphins

Matthews is surprisingly still available in just under 45 percent of leagues on ESPN, despite being QB Ryan Tannehill's top target so far this year. While Jarvis Landry still has 18 more targets, Matthews has 51 more yards and, most importantly, three touchdowns to Landry's zero through the air. If someone is on a bye or injured, be sure to check on Matthews' status in your league.

4. Christine Michael, RB, Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys don't seem too sold on Joseph Randle yet, even though he had a big game against the Atlanta Falcons just a few weeks ago. That being said, all the talk has been centered on Michael, a man acquired from Seattle earlier this year. He's expected to have a bigger role, but not even he knows what exactly that will entail. However, he is still available in 51.6 percent of ESPN leagues and has a chance to do something if you really need someone.

3. Stefon Diggs, WR, Minnesota Vikings

Diggs had a huge surge in adds over the past week after he broke out for seven catches and over 120 yards last Sunday. That big jump, though, was from being owned in just over two percent of ESPN leagues to just over 40. That means that in nearly 60 percent of leagues, he can still be obtained, and he's expected to start opposite Charles Johnson this week. Considering the chance that Peterson won't play, the Vikings may be counting on the passing game quite a bit more.

2. Antonio Andrews, RB, Tennessee Titans

In a real pinch, Andrews may be a viable option for you. He's one of the few guys out there are who No. 1 on the depth chart at his position and is still available in nearly 70 percent of ESPN leagues. What's that saying? Any given Sunday? That's gotta be your motto in this type of situation if you desperately need a RB to produce for you this week.
