‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer to Lose Custody of Daughter Addie Too?

Unfortunately for Teen Mom 2 cast member, Leah Messer losing custody of her twins, Ali and Aleeah, to ex-husband Corey Sims may just be the start of her latest court troubles. According to the latest gossip news updates, Messer's other ex, Jeremy Calvert, is now scared to death that the daughter he has with Leah, Addie, may also need new living arrangements. Word has it that the pipeline engineer is desperate to find permanent work in West Virginia, so he too can petition a judge to give him full custody of their 2-year-old. Meanwhile Dr. Drew Pinsky stresses that the Leah's boyfriends moving against her in court is actually a positive sign that she is recovering, but could, of course, ultimately be detrimental to Messer recovery in the long run.

While Leah Messer might have thought things were settled after Corey Simms tried and failed to gain sole custody of their 5-year-old twins last year, it appears her right to raise the children wasn't as secure as she may have thought.

One source in the latest November 2, issue of In Touch claims that Leah might have been able to pass that all-important drug test the last time Corey took her to court, but the judge was concerned with more than just how sober Messer may or may not be this time around:

"Leah's really been screwing up since then, so Corey took her back to court. The judge looked at the girls' school records, which show that they've been late for school, and made the change in custody.

"Leah only gets the girls on the weekends now...She never thought this would happen."

The informant goes on to claim that since word has gotten out about Leah's accidently letting their toddler, Addie, wonder out of the house, Jeremy Calvert has also been thinking it's time to get his little girl out of there as soon as circumstances allow:

"Everyone is really worried about Addie. She recently wandered out of the house while Leah was distracted. Thankfully, a police officer found Addie and brought her back home.

"If [Jeremy] can find sometime nearby, he'll go for the same custody arrangement that Corey did."

For his part, Dr. Drew explained during a visit to the Rachel Ray show that Leah's losing he kids could actually be a sign that she is getting her life back on track (via Yahoo! News):

"One of the signs I noticed was that the people around her -- like her ex-husband and his new wife -- were starting to really come down on her.

"When that starts to happen, that's a sign to me that the identified patient is getting better.

"She is working very hard and this has been a terribly painful and stressful time for her. So, let's all wish her the best."

Although it may seem at times like Corey and his wife, Miranda, are looking to punish Leah for their own personal issues with the 23-year-old mother of three, Sims has explained on Twitter that everything he does in regard to his children is motivated by what he feels is in their best interest (via Inquisitr):

"There is a reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done. We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment."
