Corey Simms may not be able to make his ex-wife and Teen Mom 2 cast member, Leah Messer feed their children in a timely fashion, but he can, at least, try to distance himself from the reality TV train wreck. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 25-year-old is looking to quit MTV's long running series, just to save himself to embarrassment of being publicly associated with Messer. Meanwhile, it was revealed on tonight's episode that Leah spanked her eldest daughter, Gracie, for not listening to her in front of company.
While Leah Messer's poor parenting skills may delight Teen Mom 2 fans, Corey Simms is said to be at his wits end.
One source in the latest August 10, issue of Life & Style claims that Simms has slowly come to the realization that the easy money that comes from the show, might not be so easily earned after all:
"Corey is done with the show.
"He told MTV he will not return for another season.
"He doesn't think that the money is with the aggravation anymore."
If Corey thought that his little girls having a midnight meal of raviolis was bad, tonight's episode might see Simms faint as Leah admits to getting so frustrated that she hit their daughter, Gracie, just out of view of the cameras (via Us Weekly):
"I had to go spank her.
"And I feel bad cause I spanked her."
For her part, Jenelle Evans seems to be working towards getting things back on track with fiancé, Nathan Griffiths, who is the father of her one year old son, Kaiser.
In this week's OK! Magazine, Jenelle goes over just some of the steps she and Nathan have been taking to strengthen their relationship:
"We've been spending time together -- and apart.
"We are honest and open about everything having to do with our relationship -- who we talk to, etc.
"We are over the jealousy and trust issues."
What do you think about Leah Messer's antics on Teen Mom 2?
Is she just doing the best she can to adjust to life as a 23-year-old with three kids?
Or, does someone need to hurry up and call the Department of Social Services before it's too late?
