While Eva Mendes seems to like nothing more than to talk about the baby she recently had with Ryan Gosling, the actress is said to making her Canadian hunk miserable behind the scenes. According to the latest gossip news updates, the former Notebook heartthrob acted like a broken man on the set of his latest movie La La Land. Word has it the Gosling even admitted to Emma Stone between takes that since having their daughter, Esmeralda, life with Mendes has become almost unbearable -- leading many to wonder if he won't soon split.
Having a baby with a woman like Eva Mendes is usually the things dreams are made of, but Ryan Gosling's relationship with the 41-year-old actress has reportedly been anything but idyllic.
One behind the scenes source from the set of La La Lands reveals in the latest November 2, issue of OK! Magazine that Emma Stone found a shell of the man she use to know and love when she showed up to film their third movie together:
'Emma expected fatherhood would change Ryan -- but not like this.
"He's just so miserable and withdrawn, and he told her feels like he's always in trouble with Eva.
"Eva insist happy that Ryan is doing another movie with Emma...He's rather just retreat to his trailer alone than risk inciting her wrath."
Perhaps lending some credence to the reports that Eva has become a bit undone by becoming a mother, was her admission on the Today show that she now lets her one-year-old telepathically pick what movie roles to she should take (via Us Weekly):
"If I'm even like, 'Oh, what should I wear? Or, should I do this project?' All I have to think about is my daughter and her face and I know the answer immediately.
"She's my moral compass in a way."
