‘Scandal’ Kerry Washington Baby Weight Loss Causes Worry?

It's only been a year since Kerry Washington gave birth to her baby daughter Isabelle, but the Scandal beauty looks better than ever. According to the latest gossip news updates, Olivia Pope is afraid that she might have shed the extra pounds a little too quickly and hates for anyone to bring it up -- even as a compliment. Meanwhile, Shonda Rhimes politically themed hit TV show led to an actually real life arrest after a drunk college student claiming to be Olivia Pope reportedly called 911 frantically insisting that a bomb was headed for the White House.

Although she absolutely looks as fit and trim as ever, Kerry Washington is said to bristle at the mention of all the weight she's lost since her pregnancy last year.

One source in the latest October 26, issue of OK! Magazine claims that Washington understands people are just trying to be nice but is scared to death that too many conversations about her weight could lead to her developing an unhealthy obsession:

"She's sensitive about her weight, given her past problems with bulimia.

"She doesn't want to slide back into bad habits."

It seems plausible that Kerry could accidently convince herself that she needs to keep losing weight; after all she was recently able to accidently convince one drunk woman from Iowa that she needed to call 911 in order to warn the White House of a potential terrorist attack.

According to BPR, an underage Iowa college student wound up in jail after she called the local police department pretending to be bigwig Washington fixer, Olivia Pope:

"Kelsey Jean Cousins, 20, was at the Sports Column Bar in Iowa City when she called 911 early Friday, said she was Olivia Pope from the hit ABC show and that there was a car with a bomb in it heading to the White House.

"The crocked coed also told police that Cyrus Beene, a villain on the show, was outside of the bar."

What do you think of the media's obsession with how quickly a celebrity loses weight after her pregnancy?

Is Jessica Simpson any less of a success given the nearly two-years that it took her to work off all the extra weight from her two pregnancies?

Or, is it just one more way for the media to treat women like sexual commodities instead of people?

Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment field below.
