Game Prediction: Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are hoping to improve to 5-0 on the season with a big win over a tough St. Louis Rams' football team. Nick Foles and the Rams are coming off of a big win last week against the Arizona Cardinals, thanks in large part to the impressive play from star rookie running back Todd Gurley.
Gurley is going to be asked to shoulder a heavy workload for the St. Louis offense. There is no question that the Packers are capable of stopping him like they have stopped both Marshawn Lynch and Carlos Hyde, but there is a good chance that he will still pick up a good chunk of yardage. It will be interesting to see what will end up happening in this one, but the Rams have a lot of work to do.
It appears that Davante Adams will miss his second game in a row, but James Jones is good to play. Rodgers and the Green Bay offense will rely heavily on the arm of Rodgers, as he has already played a nearly perfect season this year. He has thrown for 995 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions so far.
St. Louis will look to put pressure on Rodgers and force him to make a mistake. That is easier said than done, but the Rams do have the talent to make that happen.
Expect to see a close game for the first couple of quarters, but the Packers should be able to make a run in the second half and pull away. Green Bay is obviously the better football team and they shouldn't have any trouble pulling off another win. Playing in the friendly confines of Lambeau Field always helps the Packers as well, although the Rams could pull off an upset if Gurley can play a big game.
