It seems that the real reason for Nick Jonas breaking up his brothers' band has finally come to light -- Joe and Kevin were clearly holding their frontman back from dating some of the hottest women on the planet. According to the latest gossip news updates, the "Jealous" singer is now seeing Almost Famous sex-symbol Kate Hudson, after splitting with former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo just a few short months ago. Although, the 36-year-old Hollywood bombshell certainly has a penchant for getting into serious long-term relationships with popular musicians, Goldie Hawn's flakey daughter reportedly has no plans to settle down with former Disney star.
While Nick Jonas is no longer pretending like he and Kate Hudson have never met, the 23-year-old still wasn't ready to say too much about his budding romance with Kate Hudson during his recent interview with 94.7 Fresh FM (via Us Weekly):
"I keep some things to myself.
"The Internet's a strange place where a little thing can turn into a lot, but it's about how much of that you kind of want in your world and just living your life and knowing that people will have their opinion."
As for people's opinions that it's a little odd for the former promise ring wearing Disney star to be dating a bona fide Hollywood sex-pot, one source in the latest October 19, issue of OK! Magazine claims Nick doesn't seem to have a problem with it:
"[He] couldn't care less. Nick thinks she's sexy as hell, and the fact that she's older is a turn-on to him.
"They are both adults who are just after a good time."
An insider from Kate's side of the aisle told Us that Hudson also saw her new boyfriend's age as a real turn on, but she has no intention of ever taking things with Nick to the next level (via Daily Mail):
"She loves that Nick is younger and that they can let loose.
"This is just a fun hookup for her. It's not like she's in love."
