This week Fox’s hit crime drama, Bones is back with the premiere of its eleventh season. Over the break both Emily Deschanel and her counterpart, Brennan gave birth to baby boys. However, Brennan’s family might not be growing. This Season starts off with Booth (David Boreanaz) missing and presumed dead? Could the show really be killing off one of its main characters?
The official plot synopsis for this week’s all new episode of Bones, titled “The Loyalty in the Lie,” reads:
“Booth goes missing as Season 11 begins six months after he and Brennan left their careers behind, but a case with ties to the couple pulls Brennan back into the world of forensic analysis, which brings her into contact with a member of Booth's family and Arastoo Vaziri, who's taken the lead at the Jeffersonian in her absence. Meanwhile, the FBI investigate Booth's disappearance, but one agent's tactics are bad for the team's morale.”
Recently, Emily Deschanel spoke to Yahoo TV about the series premiere, saying:
“The show picks up about six months later. We have a new baby and basically we see Brennan and Booth together, whole family, it’s kind of this beautiful scene.…They’ve been away from the crime world officially for those months, and Booth goes off to work and he doesn’t come home. Then the Jeffersonian finds a body that they suspect might be Booth. Booth is missing, we think this body may be him, and… Brennan comes in, basically, to prove that this isn’t her husband dead. Her wishfully thinking, because there’s lots of indications that it may actually be Booth, from the facial reconstruction looking so much like him, to similar injuries that he has sustained.“
