Now, the show is tackling another senstive and topical subject. Tonight’s episode is all about a transgender teen who is bullied by a fellow teen. Check out the report below for a look at the episode.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, titled “Transgender Bridge,” reads:
“A transgender teen is teased and then injured by bullies, one of whom is tried as an adult when the case goes to the DA's office.”
Out.com is reporting on a more detailed plot synopsis, reading:
"Taunts and jokes intensify to pushing and shoving, leaving Avery in the hospital and three assailants under arrest. When the DA’s office decides to try one of the culprits, 15 year-old Darius McCrae (guest star Dante Brown), as an adult, the SVU squad agonizes over whether the punishment fits the crime, and must deal with the pain of both families involved."
