Joker Jared Leto Frightens Margot Robbie on ‘Suicide Squad’ Set?

While he didn't seem to make a transgender transition for his character in The Dallas Buyer's Club, Jared Leto is said to be leaning hard into his new role of Joker, both on and off the Suicide Squad set. According to the latest gossip news updates, the 30 Seconds to Mars star recently offended his fellow patrons at a L.A. hair salon by openly looking at sexually explicit pictures on his phone. In fact, things have gotten to the point on their new superhero movie that Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn, is more afraid of Leto when his out of character than in it.

In the past, Jared Leto has been accused of some pretty crazy stuff, but the 43-year-old rock star supposedly outdid himself during a recent trip to hair salon to maintain his new green do.

One eyewitness claims in the October 5, issue of Star magazine that Leto was looking at pictures of both men and women that were so sexual in nature that they alarmed the other guests at the stylist:

"They were really sexually explicit.

"Some were naked bathroom selfies, and others were people lying on couches and beds...It was cross"

As frightening as Jared promises his new Joker will be, his Suicide Squad costar, Margot Robbie, says she finds the actor to be far scarier when he is out of character.

In a recent interview with the NY Daily News, Robbie, who plays Leto's love interest in the new movie, explained that she got used to the Joker but Jared was another matter entirely (via Movie Pilot):

"At first it was kind of confronting (to be up close) but now I'm so used to it, I think if I ever saw him out of makeup now I would be really confused.

"Actually, I saw him out of makeup once and I was actually petrified of him. I was too scared to go up and didn't know who that person was, and when he got back into his makeup I was far more comfortable."

What do you think about Leto's supposed strange behavior?

Is it about time Jared put the Joker to rest for the sake of those around him, if nothing else?

Or, is it fine for Leto to scare a few ladies at the hair salon just so long as his new Joker really delivers?
