It's been quite a while since Dallas Buyer's Club Oscar winner, Jared Leto, was said to have a serious girlfriend, but it looks as though that may very well be the case once again. According to the latest gossip news updates, Cameron Diaz' ex-boyfriend has been seen on what looks like several different dates with Russian supermodel, Valery Kaufman. While the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman looks to be wooing a new lady love in his downtime, fellow 'Suicide Squad' member Scott Eastwood explained that Jared is so in character while on the set, that he is kind of afraid to even talk to him.
Although nothing is anywhere close to being official just yet, it looks like Jared Leto may very well have a new love in his life outside of openly pining for 12 Years a Slave starlet, Lupita Nyong'o.
The super-sleuths at People caught Jared Leto and Valery Kaufman looking very much the couple, while hanging around New York earlier this week:
"Leto and the Russian model shopped for groceries at a city deli on Saturday night, before later picking up takeout food from a nearby restaurant.
"The pair walked separately, before later linking arms as they strolled the city streets."
Apparently, they were even reported by the Daily Mail to be have been spotted romantically biking alone together through Central Park last Sunday, but the seems to sound very little like the Jared Leto that has been showing up every day to work as the Joker in David Ayer's new Suicide Squad comic book blockbuster.
In a recent interview with E! News, Leto's co-star on the anti-hero project, Scott Eastwood, explains that Jared shows up to the set everyday so in character as The Joker that he dare not even speak to the supervillain:
"I was sort of afraid to approach him because I didn't want to mess with his thing going on.
"But I knew him before. I met him before he was The Joker.
"I just met him as Jared Leto. So I didn't know if I wanted to mess up his thing."
While Scott probably has no clue as to what's going on in Jared's personal life, he did promise Leto does most of his own stunt in their new film:
"[It's] really physical.
"David is a very physical film maker.
"He wants everyone doing their own stuff and he doesn't hire guys who aren't willing to do that."
Hopefully Jared's new film and relationship will enjoy every bit of the success that he has become known for in recent years.
