Once again it is being rumored that Julia Roberts' marriage to Danny Moder is very near divorce. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Pretty Women actress and her husband are temporarily separating in the hopes that it will somehow make them miss their relationship. In a related story, Roberts, who has lost both her half-sister, Nancy, and mother, Betty Lou, in the last 12-months, is said to often worry about her famous niece, Emma, succumbing to the dangers of Hollywood. But Julia has reportedly convinced herself that brother Eric's daughter has got a better head on her shoulders than her dad ever did.
It hardly seems like the best way to keep things from finally falling apart, but Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder are said to be trying a trial separation in a last ditch effort to save their marriage.
One source in the latest October 5, issue of Star magazine claims that Julia and Danny are desperate enough to try anything at this point, even if it sometimes feels like the beginning of the end:
"Word has it that he is moving out to see if they'll miss each other, if having space can fix the problems that stem form Julia's controlling ways...They're wondering if living separate lives can heal their marriage.
"Julia will say it's a decision they made together, but people thing that Danny is finally putting his foot down."
While that makes for an entertaining story, it seems doubtful that there is anything wrong with Roberts' relationship, as she often talks about her husband in the most glowing of terms.
In a recent interview with Allure, Julia explained that she would be a wreck if not for often having Danny beside her working as the cinematographer on many of her films (via Us Weekly):
"I don't know if I would have succeeded in some of the efforts that I made, if he hadn't been in such close physical proximity to me.
"There's something about having the safest place in the world for you in the same room.
Julia also explained in the interview that there is no need for the media to stalk her little niece around waiting for disaster to strike, because Emma Roberts is as sound as a pound and always will be (via Daily Mail):
"'She's so lovely. We spend a lot of time together. Emma is a remarkable girl.
"Sometimes I sort of secretly worry about her, and then I see her and go, 'What am I worried about? She's a solid human being.'"
