It seems the supermarket tabloids can't decide if Julia Robert's marriage to Danny Moder is coming or going. According to the latest gossip news updates, The Pretty Women starlet is trying desperately to convince her husband to stay as they both slowly prepare for an inevitable divorce. Word has it that Dermot Mulroney's movie bestie has already started to sell off their vacation homes in order to make the eventually split of their net worth less complicated. All this comes, of course, just weeks after the Hollywood gossip mongers were claiming that things between Julia and Danny were on a real upswing after a recent trip to Mexico.
While they have always seemed like the epitome of the perfect whenever they are in public, the Tinsel Town tabloids are once again reporting that Julia Robert's longtime husband, Danny Moder, is ready to make a break for it.
One source in the latest August 10, issue of OK! Magazine, insists that from the start Danny has been waiting for things to get better, but after almost a decade-and-half of taking Julia's abuse, the cameraman is looking for a divorce:
"She can be screaming one minute and apologizing the next.
"Every time she gets on her high horse about something and starts yelling at him, he vows it will be the last time he lets her treat him like dirt.
"It's as if she can't see her own faults...Danny has had enough."
The informant goes on to tell OK! that although she isn't happy about it, Julia has also started to slowly get her affairs in order, by selling off several of her homes, in preparation for the divorce:
"[A divorce] is the last thing Julia wants.
"It's a definite sign that things are not good...she loves these houses.
"But selling them now means fewer messy transactions that need to be completed before a divorce can be finalized."
Although it hard to tell just form her asking price alone, from the looks of NY Daily News' report, Roberts certainly isn't trying to sell her luxe apartment in Greenwich Village for the profit:
"Movie star Julia Roberts is gearing up to list her Hamptons-style Greenwich Village apartment for $4.5 million, having paid just $3.89 million for it in 2010.
"But the Runaway Bride actress isn't checking out of New York, completely.
"She'll hang on to her Gramercy Park pad, which she's been leasing out to a long-term renter."
What do you think?
Are all of Julia Roberts' recent real estate dealings indicative of a looming divorce?
Or, do all the recent reports just prove the tabloids' stunning ability to, once again, make something out of nothing?
