Pretty Woman Julia Roberts to Divorce Husband Danny Moder after Mother’s Death?

Once again the supermarket tabloids are reporting that there is trouble in Julia Roberts' marriage to cameraman Danny Moder. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Pretty Woman actress is thinking about splitting with her husband of twelve years after he ostensibly boycotted her mother's funeral. Word has it that Betty Lou never warmed to her son-in-law, so he found something better to do when it came to put her in the ground. On the other hand, Julia is said to still have a very close relationship with her My Best Friend's Wedding love interest, Dermot Mulroney, despite having made that movie almost 20-years ago.

While the exact reasoning behind the decision isn't entirely clear, it's recently been reported that Julia Roberts' longtime husband, Danny Moder, didn't make it to his mother-in-law's funeral a couple of weeks ago.

One source claiming to be close to the couple reveals in the June 22, issue of the National Enquirer that being that Betty Lou never really resolved her issues with Danny while she was alive, he didn't feel the need to mourn her after she passed:

"Betty never felt that Danny -- who was cameraman at the time, and still is -- was good enough for Julia.

"Neither did she liked the fact he dumped his first wife so that he could take up with her.

"Danny had always resented Betty's dismissive attitude toward him...even when she came to live with them at the end of her cancer battle, they has little interaction."

According to the informant, Julia is none too pleased with Danny's call to go their son's baseball game instead of burying her mother and is pretty resentful Moder couldn't get over whatever grudge he had with her to be there by her side during this difficult time:

"She can be very insecure, and she was absolutely devastated by Danny's cold-hearted snub -- and even more concerned about how it would look to everyone that he wasn't attending with her...She's been giving Danny the cold shoulder.

"If by some miracle their marriage survives, it's safe to say that their dynamic will be changed forever more!"

Put that in contrast to Julia's 18-year-long relationship with her old My Best Friend's Wedding costar, Dermot Mulroney.

During a recent on HuffPost Live, the aging actor explained that he and Roberts are every bit as good of friends today as they were when the movie originally came out back in 1997 (via ABC News):

"Julia and I have remained the closest of friends, which really doesn't always happen.

"All actors like each other and you think, 'Oh, we'll stay in touch,' but it's like summer camp.

"You stay in touch with a few of them and not very many, but bless her heart, I love her, and we stayed that close."

If only Julia could get along with everyone just half as well as she does with Dermot Mulroney.
