The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of The Bastard Executioner, titled “Effigy / Delw,” reads:
“Charges of treason are leveled against an unlikely suspect, meaning Wilkins must fulfill his duties as the new executioner.”
Kurt Sutter recently spoke to Deadline about the possibility of Charlie Hunnam and the rest of the Sons showing up on The Bastard Executioner.
“We can’t wait until we have an opportunity to work together again. I think he had a blast on King Arthur and there’s part of me that’s grateful I didn’t completely crush his soul by the end of our show. He’s actually in a better place than when he started. I love all those guys. It’s great working again with Timmy [Galen,Timothy V Murphy] again on Executioner. I get crazy emails from [Chibs, Tommy] Flanagan. All that’s really, really satisfying.”
