Amanda Peet Divorcing Husband After Jon Snow Kit Harrington ‘Game of Thrones’ Death?

Actress Amanda Peet recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the host mentioned that she was married to Game of Thrones executive producer David Benioff, at least for now. The Studio 60 vet confided in Kimmel, and the entire viewing audience, that she is planning on divorcing her husband because he killed off Jon Snow (Kit Harrington). We knew Jon Snow’s death was troubling, but we never thought it would tear apart marriages.

Amanda Peet recently opened up to Jimmy Kimmel about her failing marriage, joking:

“I don’t love him anymore...Jon Snow. I said if you kill him that’s it. “

When Peet was pressed for details on whether or not Jon Snow was really dead, she replied:

“I am in the process of getting divorced...Not kidding.”

Amanda went on to explain just why her marriage was “falling apart,” stating:

“I made him promise me, I begged him. He went out with Kit two weeks before the finale, I said, ‘I have heard all this stuff, he got a haircut. What’s going on. I don’t want to divorce you, what’s happening?’ He said, ‘I am with him right now,’ and said, “ well send me a picture. I wanna see the hair.’”

“So he sent me a picture and his hair looked normal and it was like my whole marriage blossomed again. David got laid. And then two episodes later . . .”

Even Peet is not let in on the spoilers,despite being married to the showrunner, as she added:

“It’s a little bit like being married to someone in the CIA or something, except for not as important.”
