It seems that neither Sean Penn or Charlize Theron have had any trouble moving on since their split a few months ago. According to the latest gossip news updates, while the Monster Oscar winner is said to now be dating Southpaw actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Penn is rumored to have come very close to getting back together with his ex-wife, Robin Wright. Although his divorce form the House of Cards star was said to be brutal, word has it Sean has been talking to The Princess Bride beauty since she reportedly broke up with former fiancé Ben Foster at the end of August, and things are looking promising.
Anyone that was at the Sugarfsh in L.A. for Charlize Theron and Jake Gyllenhaal's date night last month would reportedly have been hard pressed to deny that something seemed to be going on between the A-list movie stars.
One source in the latest September 21, issue of OK! Magazine claims that although their fans shouldn't expect an official announcement any time soon, they can rest easy knowing that Charlie seems to already have found love with someone new:
"There's always been an attraction, but the timing was never right.
"The romance is fresh, but they are having a blast so far. [And] Jake never has to worry about drama with her, because she is so confident and sure of herself."
While Charlize is said to have found a new love with an old friend, Sean Penn is rumored to have rekindling an old love with his former nemesis, ex-wife Robin Wright, now that she's through with Ben Foster.
Although the insider that Radar Online spoke to explains that no one seems to be happy about it save for their two kids, Sean and Robin appear to be close to getting back together:
"All their friends and family are going to go into meltdown if they get back together again, but Sean and Robin are talking every day right now.
"They're both going through heartbreaks and they're leaning on each other for support...It's very clear he's making a bid to win her back."
According to the informant, Sean and Robin have understood all along that the only reason they fight the way they have in the past, is because they love each other so much:
"She was always Sean's soulmate and he says that's why they clashed so much. She gets him like no one else."
