It would seem that Tom Hardy isn't the only actor that Charlize Theron is rumored to have rubbed the wrong way on the set of Mad Max. According to the latest gossip news updates, X-MEN actor Nicholas Hoult had problems with the Monster Oscar winner's onset etiquette from day one and nearly balked on their new film together, Dark Places, due to the highhanded way she carries herself. Meanwhile, the news that Charlize has suddenly adopted a baby sister for son, Jackson, has folks wondering if the secret adoption has anything to do with Theron's recent split with ex-boyfriend/fiancé, Sean Penn.
While everyone seemed to know about Charlize Theron's ongoing feud with Tom Hardy during the making of Mad Max, it seems not even she was aware that Nicholas Hoult also reportedly had beef with her.
One source in the latest August 24, issue of OK! Magazine claimed that Nick almost didn't join the cast of Dark Places thanks to the awful experience he had working with Charlize on Mad Max:
"[Nick] hasn't like Charlize since they filmed Mad Max in 2012.
"She walked around like she owned the place and would glare at anyone who made a suggestion for a scene.
"She's snap at the crew and retreat to her trailer after a take...He found it mortifying."
Regardless of whatever issues she might have with her coworkers, it seems that Charlize's personal life in on an upswing once again.
Despite splitting up with her former fiancé, Sean Penn, just a few short months ago, Theron is said to be as happy as ever after adopting another child late last month.
Very little is known about the little girl at this time, but Charlize did open up about becoming a parent and the good it has done her in her W magazine interview earlier this spring (via HollywoodLife):
"I do know that choosing to be a mom in my late 30s has been really great for me.
"It's given me perspective."
What do you think about Charlize Theron adopting a child so soon after her split with Sean Penn?
