If Charlize Theron was hoping that Sean Penn was going to be emotionally devastated from her ending their recent engagement, it looks like she should think again. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Mad Max actress' ex-boyfriend was seen having a romantic dinner with Derek Jeter's ex-wife, Mika Kelly, just weeks after their split. Despite the current state of her private life, Paper Towns' supermodel turned actress Cara Delevingne point to the Oscar wining Monster starlet as her perfect example of what a model is capable of in Hollywood given a proper chance to show off all her talents.
Sean Penn may have called Charlize Theron the love of his life a few months back, but it looks like the Mystic River Oscar winner has no problem moving on with his life now that their relationship seems to be over for good.
Just a matter of weeks after things reportedly went south with Charlie, Penn was seen taking Derek Jeter's ex-wife, Minka Kelly, out to the super-exclusive French Laundry in Napa Valley to celebrate her 35th birthday.
One source in the latest July 20, issue of Star magazine claims that Sean is not afraid to pull out all the stops when it comes time to get a beautiful woman's undivided attention:
"He like to go above and beyond when sweeping a woman off her feet...It's definitely working [on Minka]."
According to the spy, Kelly might be fast falling for all Sean's charms but her friends and family are not so sure that dating the infamous Hollywood bad boy is necessarily a good idea:
"Sean doesn't exactly have a great track record with women, and they're begging Minka to carefully think about taking it any further with him."
While Sean Penn might be doing his best to put Charlize Theron in his rearview, Cara Delevingne thinks the Academy Award winning actress to be at the perfect example of what she one days hope to achieve for herself.
During a recent interview with The Project, the Suicide Squad baddie explained that when she thinks of transitioning from being a model to a serious actress, she envisions herself doing it much in the same way that Charlize has (via NZCity):
"You know Charlize Theron, there are so many amazing actresses who have been models. And like her in that movie 'Monster', those are the kind of roles I want to play.
"There's always going to be people who don't want you to succeed or doubt you, but again, I didn't really care, because I know how hard I can work and I knew I'd give it my all.
"So as long as I do good work, I know that's all that matters."
Let's hope that Cara's movie making career is every bit as successful as Theron's -- only without Reindeer Games and Children of the Corn III, of course.
