Although much has been made about the possibility of Caitlyn Jenner being put in to the men's detention center should she be criminally charged in the death of a fellow passenger in a car accident involving the paparazzi earlier this year, word has it that chances are it will not come to all that. According to the latest gossip news updates the I Am Cait transgender reality star only needs to worry if she hasn't yet to complete her gender reassignment surgeries. Word has it that that L.A County processes anyone who has fully physically transition with the inmates of their current gender assignment.
Caitlyn Jenner has wisely spoken very little about her tragic car accident that left one women dead and several other's injured, but word has it that the pressure of one day having to answer to the police has been taking its toll behind the scenes.
One source in the latest September 21, issue of Star magazine claims that Caitlyn has practically been having panic attacks as the time for the police department to make their decision fast approaches:
"She is freaking out over this whole, terrible incident. The thought of going to jail is terrifying.
"She can hardly even sleep at night. She wakes up covered in sweat, shaking...It's horrific. Caitlyn knowns there is a real chance she could be incarcerated, and she's in no way prepared for it."
According to the magazine, however, all that worry about ending up with the men has probably been for naught, as Jenner's detention center destination will be determined by the progress of her gender reassignment:
"Male-to-female transgender inmates who have completed all forms of gender-reassignment, surgery (meaning both 'top' and 'bottom' procedures0 are housed in a women's facility.
"The former Olympian has quietly completed the 'bottom' procedure -- so there should be no threat of her ending up in the women's prison."
Of course, Caitlyn told Matt Lauer on the Today show last week the preparing for the surgeries was in many ways just as traumatic as preparing for go to jail (via USA Today):
"I had a massive panic attack. I'd never had anything like that in my life. It was, like, so scary.
My heart was just pounding and this and that. In my head when I shut my eyes, it was just, like, 'My God, what did you just do?'
"Because that surgery kind of passed the point of no return."
Well...if that isn't a subtle admission of having completed both surgeries, than what is?
