Tracy Morgan recently settled his suit with Wal-Mart for an unspecified amount of money. Now, Damon Wayans (In Living Color) is revealing how much Morgan allegedly made. Damon Wayans recently appeared on Charlamagne’s “Breakfast Club” radio show where it claimed that Tracy Morgan received a $90 million pay day,saying (via Zap2it):
“Tracy Morgan right now, got $90 million. So when [Morgan] gets on stage, people got 90 million things on their mind besides his comedy. And so it becomes hard, people put money before you. You’re supposed to be representing them, you’re the voice of the people; you’re no longer the voice of the people, so it makes you resentful and a little crazy.”
Wayans also went a little dark, joking:
“People are sitting around [saying] ‘Man, I wish a Wal-Mart truck hit me.'”
A rep for Tracy Morgan has since reached out, deny the claim (via Page Six):
Tracy has had no contact with Mr. Wayans since before the accident. So there is no way he would be able to know this and thus is false.”
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Tracy Morgan is worth $18 million. That number does not factor in the settlement he received.
