Former Daily Show correspondent turned Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore is now weighing in on the Black Lives Matter protesters who interrupted a Bernie Sanders’ rally over the weekend. Wilmore scalded the protesters for not having manners. Donald Trump was also asked recently about the interruption, saying it made Sanders look weak.
This week Larry Wilmore focused his Unblackening segment on socialist darling and Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, commenting on the massive support he has been receiving before adding:
“But not everybody in the progressive party is that excited to hear him speak, In fact some won’t let him speak at all.”
Larry then went on to play a clip of two Black Lives Matter protesters taking the mic from Bernie Sanders at a rally over the weekend, before adding:
“Now, ladies, I agree that black lives matter. But black manners matter as well.”

Donald Trump was asked about the event this Tuesday, at a pre-speech press Q&A, where he stated (via CNN):
"Believe me, that's not going to happen to Trump. I would never give up my microphone. I thought that was disgusting. That showed such weakness, the way he was taken away by two young women -- the microphone; they just took the whole place over. That will never happen with me. I don't know if I'll do the fighting myself or if other people will, but that was a disgrace. I felt badly for him. But it showed that he's weak."
