Being that she was his first real adult girlfriend, it makes sense if it takes Nick Jonas a little time to get over his split with girlfriend of 2-years, Olivia Culpo. According to the latest gossip news updates, as the former Miss Universe poses nude in the new issue of Treats! the former Jonas Brothers band leader is still wondering where it all went wrong. That reportedly hasn't stopped him from going on a few dates with Kendall Jenner at Gigi Hadid's request, however. Word has it that ever since Gigi started dating Nick's older brother, Joe, she has been pushing hard for the pair to get together.
She may not have been his first love, but Olivia Culpo certainly was the first grown-up girlfriend Nick Jonas ever had.
It's that coming of age with the former Miss Universe by his side that reportedly has the 22-year-old popstar frightened that he may not be able to adjust without her.
One source in the latest August 10, issue of Life & Style claims that Nick after spending so much time with Culpo, that he is now having a hard time moving on alone:
"After two years together Nick is in terrible shape without Olivia.
"He definitely misses her!"
According to the an onset eyewitness that spoke to L&S, Nick seemed to be so plagued by thoughts of Olivia on the set of Kingdom that he almost couldn't manage to do his job:
"Nick talked about how devastated he was by the breakup.
"He looked like he was going to burst into tear at any second.
"He was a mess and had trouble focusing on his lines."
The insider that Us Weekly spoke to, however, claimed that Nick has moved on from the split and is now seeing Kendall Jenner -- thanks to Gigi Hadid's matchmaking:
"Nick was single and looking to date and there was an obvious attraction. He absolutely thinks she's hot,"
"They are all going to end up hanging out regardless, so it seems like a simple situation, which could be a lot of fun.
"When they're ready and it turns official, we'll start seeing photos."
For his part, Nick did admit to the UK's Mirror that both his brother, Joe, and his girlfriend, Gigi, have been pressuring him to get together with Kendall Jenner if at all possible (via HollywoodLife):
"[Joe] has mentioned it a few times and so has Gigi.
"We'll see, I don't know. We'll play it by ear. I wouldn't be opposed to it."
