Although there is quite the buzz surrounding Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez potentially dating again in the near future thanks to his new 2015 leaked single "Perfect Together", word has it he may have some competition. According to the latest gossip news updates, former Jonas Brothers frontman, Nick Jonas, was seen putting the moves on the Spring Breakers bikini model earlier this month at a private dinner party. While little would have been thought of the outing a few short months ago, since their respective splits from DJ Zedd and Olivia Culpo, Selena and Joe's rendezvous has people talking.
While everyone is currently talking about Justin Bieber presumed feelings for Selena Gomez, it was another one of her ex-boyfriends, Nick Jonas, who seemed ready to romantically reconnect with the 22-year-old actress at LA's Osteria Mamma a couple weeks back.
An eyewitness to their dinner party reveals in the latest July 27, issue of Life & Style, that now that they are both a little bit older and single again, it seemed like Nick was hoping that they might pick things up where the left off five-years ago:
"They were the first two to arrive of their group.
"Nick gave Selena and awkward hug and complimented her on her looks.
"Selena seemed guarded, but Nick was definitely trying to flirt with her!"
One reason that Selena might not have been completely open to her ex's advancea could have to do with the man that Gomez fell for after she split from Jonas.
Someone claiming to be close to Selena told the Hollywood Life that as Gomez hopes against hope the Justin Bieber shows up for her birthday tomorrow to take her away for a romantic day at Disneyland:
"Selena would love to be whisked away on her birthday by Justin, but knows getting out of town might be tough.
"She loves the idea of celebrating her special day with Justin at Disneyland. That used to be their favorite place to go together."
The only thing that would make Selena happier than hanging out at Disneyland all day with her ex, would be if she could somehow talk her bestie, Taylor Swift, and her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, into joining them, but Selena knows that is highly unlikely given the 1989 singer's feeling towards the Biebs:
"In a perfect world, she would want to celebrate her birthday in Disneyland with Justin and her closest friends, and that includes Taylor.
"She would love it if they could all double date to the Magic Kingdom, but realizes that it's never going to happen."
It looks like Nick Jonas is just going to have to hope that his brother's girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, can hook him up with some of her supermodel coworkers.
