Kourtney Kardashian Mom Kris Jenner Sends Scott Disick to Mental Ward? [NEWS]

As hard as it is to believe that things could have already have gotten to this point, word has it that the cast of Keeping Up with the Kardashians are strongly considering having Kourtney K's longtime boyfriend temporarily committed to a mental hospital. According to the latest gossip news updates, the mother of his children is so worried that Scott Disick's hard partying lifestyle is a cry for help, that she has asked her mom, Kris Jenenr, to look into having him locked away for his own safety.

As Scott Disick continues to party his way through his split with longtime girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian, some of those who use to be closest to him are starting to worry that his outrageous behavior might be a warning sign.

One source in the latest August 10, issue of Life & Style claims that Kourtney and her family are really concerned that Scott is literally trying to drink himself to death:

"He's been on some kind of death mission lately. He's spiraling out of control with booze and drugs.

"Everyone is scared he isn't going to make it.

"Kourtney doesn't want Scott back, but she doesn't want her children to grow up without a father, either."

According to the informant, Kourtney heard about families sometimes having a loved one temporary committed to the mental ward for observation and asked he mom if that might not be a way to keep Scott sober for at least 72-hours:

"She's spoken about it to her mom, Kris, who asked an attorney to look into a 5150 hold.

"They're honestly scared Scott could die if they do nothing."

While the family friend that People spoke to didn't go as far as to mention a mental hospital, they did agree that Disick clearly seemed to be using alcohol to cope with his feelings over the split:

"He's acting out because he's in pain, and he's in a spiral.

"I think Scott doesn't realize how dangerous his partying really is. When he's partying, he's distracted. He's not focused on the right things.

"And I don't think he realizes how insidious his behavior really is. And I don't think he gets it. If he did understand it, he'd stop."

What do you think?

Should the Kardashians have Scott sent to the hospital before he sends himself to the morgue?

Or, does Disick's ex need to get out of his business now that they aren't a couple anymore?
