Now it is being reported that Jen & Justin have finally gotten married after an almost 3-year-long engament. The couple reportedly had a secret wedding at their Bel Air home, with Courteney Cox, Melissa McCarthy, Selena Gomez Chelsea Handler and Ed Sheeran in attendance.
Bustle is now reporting that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were secretly married earlier this summer. According to a report by an unnamed insider, the couple were married at their home by a mutual friend without the aid of bridesmaids or groomsmen.
Earlier in the year, Jen spoke to InStyle about the possibility of a secret wedding, stating (via ABC News):
“There’s a big discussion in our house right now: Do you just do it and say screw it? Or do you try desperately to get away with [a secret ceremony] where you don’t have any fun because you’re hiding in a cave somewhere?..If we could do it without all the buzzing and the noise… It can be done. When there’s a will, there’s a way.”
In the very same issue, Aniston spoke about her frustration with the varying reports by the tabloids, adding:
"I realize they need to sell magazines, but it's really getting old. What kills me is when friends send me pictures they've taken at a newsstand. One magazine says, 'Desperate and alone,' and the other one says, 'She's eloped!' I mean, at least consult."
