San Diego Comic-Con 2015 has come and gone and comic book movie fans have a lot to fight online about for the next few months. One of the many properties featured was Fox’s R-Rated Deadpool film starring Ryan Reynolds and T.J. Miller (Big Hero Six, Silicon Valley). The trailer features the Merc with a Mouth in all his gory glory, and even throws in a few pot shots at The Green Lantern movie. We would love to show you a video of the leaked footage but they keep getting taken down from YouTube. However, Ryan Reynolds has now spoken about when we can expect an official release.
In the trailer Deadpool can been heard making a less than glowing to reference to Ryan Reynolds time as The Green Lantern, stateing:
“Please don’t make the super suit green. Or animated.”
Following the leak of the SDCC trailer, Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to explain just why we can’t have an offical HD release now and when we can expect it:
“As much as I want the #deadpool footage from #SDCC officially released, the VFX shots aren't done yet. We have something for you in 3 weeks.”
