Aamir Khan is one of the most studious and meticulous actors you will ever meet. Time is meaning to the Bollywood actor. If it's not right, then he will work on it until it is. That quest for perfection was behind him having to turn down a part in the new joint Indian/Chinese co-production Kung Fu Yoga. Khan had no time to take on the film, because he was too busy making wrestling in his newest film Dangal look as real as possible.
Aamir had this to say about his decision to walk away from the film (via DNA India):
"The makers want to start the film in September. Jackie Chan is also there in the film called Kung Fu Yoga. But I cannot be a part of any films now. I start for Dangal and there will be two different characters I have to play in the film. So I am totally tied up with the look and my next."
But he didn't walk away and not offer a solution to the casting hole created. Sure, his reasons for walking away from the film everyone can understand and not blame him, given to his reputation for total commitment to a project. According to Business of Cinema, in a recent interview, Tiger Shroff, the replacement Aamir put forth, confirmed the reports of such by saying, "They have seen a lot of my footage and Aamir sir was very kind to put in a word for me. He was in China and had referred my name to the makers. That's how it happened. They started my videos and were quite impressed with my agility and my skills."
