It looks like the supermarket tabloids just aren't going to leave Jessica Simpson alone until she either has a public meltdown or suddenly moves to Africa al la Dave Chappelle. According to the latest gossip news rumors, while her husband, Eric Johnson, and family, have been desperately trying to get Daisy Duke to go to rehab for issues surrounding alcohol, the fashion mogul has been trying to start a feud with fellow billionaire businesswoman, Jessica Alba, and her Honest Company over who really deserve to have the kind of insane net worth.
Just last weekend it was being reported that former sex-symbol Jessica Simpson was having to deal with her recently engaged mother, Tina, trying to spearhead an effort to get her to go to rehab.
The family informant that Life & Style spoke to claimed that Tina hoped to accompany her daughter through some sober living program in order to make sure they were both back on track going into her upcoming wedding:
"When Jessica got drunk in front of everyone...it broke Tina's heart. It was a big wake-up call.
"Going to rehab with Jessica means she can kill two birds with one stone.
"Tina sees it as a win-win for mother and daughter.
"Jessica's drinking has gotten out of control, and she uses Adderall as a diet drug...One minute she's fine and the next minute she's talking nonsense and acting all crazy."
Apparently, no longer content to cook up rumors about Jessica supposed alcoholism, OK! Magazine is now reporting that Simpson is petty and spiteful as well.
One source claims in the latest July 6, issue that now that Simpson only has her fashion line to keep her relevant, she takes particular umbrage with Jessica Alba's Honest Company stealing all her billion dollar thunder in recent months:
"Jess is superjealous.
"She busted her bust and paved the way for celeb businesswomen and is still fighting for respect, and she feels like Jessica Alba just breezed onto the scenes...just playing on the eco-fad and it won't last.
"Jessica Alba's success and accolades just don't seem fair to her."
On the bright side the only reason that Jessica Alba and Jess Simpson are even in a position to have OK! spread such silly rumors about them in the first place is because they have both built companies worth a billion bucks.
