The highly anticipated Bajrangi Bhaijaan has recently released its first trailer, and everyone around Bollywood is buying into the hype surrounding this film. Turns out, there is probably no way that the movie could possible fail anyway. It stars Mr. Box Office Salman Khan and, from all reports, he does a bang up job. The film is about a little lost mute girl and an innocent devotee of Bajrangi Bhaijaan , Pavan, and their extraordinary journey.
The story of the film goes like this, courtesy of BusinessofCinema.com. Salman Khan, who is a big follower of Bajrangi (Hanuman) god, finds it impossible to send away runaway Malhotra back to her home in Pakistan. The actor goes through every consequence and fights against everything to send the girl back to her place.
For some, even co-star Salman, Harshaali Malhotra steals the show. Salman couldn't help but gush over the little dynamo. "Munni is so beautiful...a delight to work with, she is unbelievable, she did throw tantrums but she is small so it's okay. I throw tantrums at this age," Salman said at the trailer launch.
The film also contains good friend Kareena Kapoor Khan. She regaled the gathered journalists with tales of their relationship. Kareen notes, "First man who saw me in a night dress was Salman Khan when I was nine. Many firsts with him"
Salman, for his part, was in a revelatory mood during the PR for the film. In the intro, he said "This is the girl I had crush on for fifteen to seventeen years, my bhehenji (sister)"
Overall, the shoot sounded as if it were pretty harmonious on all fronts. Salman Khan served as producer and it looks as if he will have yet another blockbuster to add to his resume.
