The major success of beloved television series Downton Abbey has helped composer John Lunn show off his skills at writing music for TV drama. Earning him an Emmy in 2013, now, there is a discussion in the midst about touring the music from the show to fans across the globe.
The series' composer, Lunn revealed to Billboard that he and the show's creator, Julian Fellows, are contemplating the notion of creating a touring event that features not just the music, but the cast as well.
Still dubious? Lunn later remarked in the same article, "I'd say there's a 75 percent chance it will happen."
However, while the composer may be ready to tour the score, Lunn still has a bit of work ahead of him. He might be ready to hit the globe but the artist must finalize the last bit of music of the Abbey's final season, which is supposed to air in January 2016.
Having performed at the Krakow Film Music Festival in Poland, he is also poised to perform in Paris with another orchestra this summer.
While he may not have been attuned to the show's end date, Lunn did reveal to Billboard what's in store for the final season and you can find the exclusive interview here.
