Mariah Carey Brother Accuses ‘AGT’ Nick Cannon of Divorce Blackmail?

It seems that Mariah Carey's brother, Cameron, just doesn't know when to give it a rest. According to the latest gossip news updates, in addition of accusing their mother of turning the "Infinity" singer into an alcoholic in her teenage years, Cameron is now accusing Carey's America's Got Talent host husband of trying to blackmail his soon-to-be ex-wife to get a better divorce settlement. Mariah's brother insists that Cannon must have reels of drunken footage of his baby mama acting a fool and is no doubt using it against her behind-the-scenes during their split.

After recently blaming everyone else in Mariah Carey's life for her alleged drinking problems, the Las Vegas diva's brother, Cameron, is now explaining that whatever issues his sister may have, it's all actually their mom's fault.

In the latest June 22, issue of the Nation Enquirer, Cameron recounted one instance after another wherein he feels that his mother set Mariah down the path to destruction at a very early age:

"There is no parenting component!

"She's not a nurturer, she is not somebody who cares about anyone but herself.

"I have a recollection of our mother pouring champagne into a glass and bringing it to my sister in the bathtub, [she was] 12-years-old, [maybe] 13-years-old."

Even more disturbing are Cameron's unsubstantiated claims that Nick Cannon has somehow obtained footage of Mariah so embarrassing that she's willing to do almost anything to keep it from getting out:

"There's no question in my mind that he is blackmailing her...I have no doubt he has video footage.

"If Nick had video footage of the things I experienced with her it would be extraordinarily damaging to what's left of her career!"

Worse than the absolute nonsense her brother is espousing to supermarket tabloids is the very real news that Mariah was once again forced to settle with a former employee due to her reportedly medieval business practices.

According to The New York Daily News, Carey's former nanny claimed that she was made to work an unreasonable amount of hours with not breaks and little pay before being dismissed for supposedly developing too close a bond to the children she was caring both for night and day:

"Simonette DaCosta said she was on call 24 hours a day as Carey's live-in nanny, routinely worked 100-hour weeks, and yet received no overtime.

"The exact terms of the settlement were not disclosed in new filings in Manhattan Federal Court announcing the agreement and closing the case."

Let's just hope that whatever happens between Nick and Mariah in divorce court that he leaves her enough money to pay the next several sets of her house servants off, when the time comes.
