Although it would have been hard to guess from her ballooning figure or failing voice just a few short months ago, Nick Cannon's soon-to-be ex-wife, Mariah Carey, is said to Kate Upton's replacement as the buxom spokeswoman for online video game title, Game of War. According to the latest gossip news updates, while the Sport's Illustrated "Cat Daddy" dancer has seemingly moved on to making major motion picture, the Las Vegas Infinity entertainer is happy to serve as the face of Game of War: Fire Age. In a bit of better news for Justin Verlander's supermodel girlfriend, the FBI are said to be one step closer to tracking down the criminals responsible for leaking nude photos of Upton as well as stars like Jennifer Lawrence and Avril Lavigne in the so-called Fappening of last summer.
If it weren't for the quality of the sources reporting the breaking new that 23-year-old Kate Upton was being replaced as Game of War's sex-symbol spokeswoman by middle-age Mariah Carey it's doubtful that anyone would dare believe it.
Word that Upton is out and Nick Cannon's ex is in, is being spread by none other the Fox News, who report that Mariah is making at least a cool mill or two for her participation in promoting their new videogame, Game of War: Fire Age:
"Upton has lost her videogame gig to Mariah who is becoming the new face of the hugely popular Game of War app.
"Carey will reportedly star in the upcoming Game of War: Fire Age.
Carey received a seven figure salary for her participation in the commercial and promotional appearances."
While it's hard to say whether or not Kate Upton even cares one way or the other about not renewing her videogame gig, the news that the FBI are closing in on the criminals responsible for plastering the internet with her personal nude selfies has to bring a some sort of smile to her face.
After letting it be known that the Federal Government had raided two seperate homes believed to be used as a base for the attacks several months ago, FBI spokesman, Josh Sedowsky, explained to The Hollywood Reporter that everything was being down to find the individuals responsible for these sex crimes (via Guardian):
"Based on victim account records obtained from Apple...one or more computers used...to access or attempted to access, without authorization, multiple celebrities' email and iCloud accounts over the course of several months."
On second thought, it really doesn't sound like the FBI are all that close to solving The Fappening attacks after all.
