Tonight Fox’s hit series Bones is all new with its Season 10 finale episode. Have no fear Boneheads, the show has been renewed for an impressive 11th season. Recently, pregnant star Emily Deschanel teased some pretty big changes ahead for Both and Brennan.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s Season 10 finale episode of Bones, titled “The Next in the Last,” reads:
“In the Season 10 finale, a victim's remains at a crime scene are reminiscent of Christopher Pelant's dirty work, so the team revisits their files on the infamous killer to find his possible protégé. Meanwhile, Angela wonders if Paris is the right place for her and Hodgins; and Brennan and Booth mull career moves out of the Jeffersonian and the FBI, respectively.”
In the all new trailer for the episode, Emily Deschanel teases some pretty big changes for Booth and Brennan (via TVLine):
“You see a lot of the characters questioning what they are doing in this profession and whether they want to continue working this way anymore.”
Where the characters might be changing jobs, there are still plenty of stories to explore as Deschanel previously told TVLine:
“I feel like we still have stories to tell. We’re still going strong. I would like to see where we take it. I think there’s a strong possibility of a Season 11. We have not been picked up officially. There’s a lot of factors that they’re trying to figure out. But I think everyone’s interested in continuing to tell the story. I don’t know how much longer after Season 11 it would go, but it’d be nice to explore it for at least one more year.”
