Tonight, The CW’s Beauty and the Beast reboot is all new with the premiere episode of its third season. The show, which was widely rumored to be ending after Season 3, has officially been renewed for a fourth season. However, this year the show’s episode order has been scaled back from 22 to 13. Recently, The Beast himself, Vincent (Jay Ryan) opened up about living the quiet life with girlfriend Cat (Kristin Kreuk). Will we see Cat and Vin get married in Season 3?
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new Season 3 premiere episode of The CW’s Beauty and the Beast, titled “The Beast of Wall Street,” reads:
“In the Season 3 premiere, Vincent considers popping the question. The timing may not be right, however, when Cat stumbles upon an unusual case involving a superhuman rampage. In other events, Tess believes JT--who doesn't understand how he's still alive--has a mental block to recovery.”
When Season 3 kicks off we see a tamer Vincent. Recently, Jay Ryan spoke to TVLine about housebreaking the Beast:
“Off the top, that’s what Vincent is kind of pining for, that normalcy in life, becoming part of the status quo and thinking that he’s going to enjoy that. But he soon realizes that the people who are around him, the ones he has been the protector of in a way, are feeling a little empty without this excitement and risk in their lives. Everyone’s in this slump while Vincent is on the up, and once he stops for a minute to marvel at the glory of his new life, he sees that everyone else is a bit off. He realizes that he has to fulfill who he is and his current purpose -- and that is to protect.”
Ryan went on to add that Vincent is ready to get married to Cat:
“It’s funny because Vincent is right on the edge of getting down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage….”
