There is a lot of big news coming from Disney. Not only are we expecting the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast, but now we can add Fantasia to list. The scene, “Night on Bald Mountain” from the classic movie will be adapted into a live action feature. That is not the only news from Disney. The hit animated feature Tangled, is being adapted into an animated series. Film stars Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi (Thor 2, Heroes Reborn) reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene / Flynn Rider respectively.
The film’s villain the Chernobog recently found live-action life on ABC’s Once Upon A Time.
Tangled fans are about to get an all new cartoon series to get wrapped up in.The new show is set in between Tangled and the short wedding film, Tangled: Ever After.
Disney issued a press release about what we can expect Rapunzel to be up to in the new series (via Entertainment Weekly):
“Her irrepressible spirit and natural curiosity about the world drives her to the realization that there is so much more she needs to learn before she can truly accept her royal destiny. She boldly puts her crown and impending marriage on hold to seek out epic adventures, much to the dismay of the King who, after missing out on Rapunzel’s youth, must accept that his daughter is now an independent young woman.”
