Stephen Colbert Writes ‘Late Show’ Theme Song & Lyrics: Joins Scientology and Kicks Oxy Addiction? [VIDEO]

Stephen Colbert’s Late Show takeover is still a few months away but we are already getting a look at a look at what is in store. Colbert recently released a new video showing the creation of his all new theme song. We can also see that the comedian may be leaving Catholicism behind for Scientology, as it appears he has been studying Dianetics. However, that might all depend on if he can kick his Oxy addiction. Check the report below for a look at the video as well as the transcribed lyrics.

In the new video, Stephen Colbert can be seen composing his own theme song, and effortless penning the amazing lyrics, which read:

“What time is it? It’s late.
What show is it? It's show
My name is Stephen Colbert, from my head to my... feet.
Where I keep my toe.

“The show will be real great.
It will be a big success.
You can watch it on tv.
On the station...Columbia Broadcasting System.
Oh, yes, oh yes, oh yes.”

Now that Colbert has his theme song down, he can focus on the rest of his show needs, including:

Things to say
More things to say
Refreshing Sandwich
Harvest organs from clone
Bolo tie?
Kick oxy!
Get oxy!!

Judging by the Dianetics book on his desk, Colbert might be looking to join L.Ron Hubbard’s Scientology.
