Word has it that if George Clooney wants his marriage to Amal Alamuddin to last a year, he had better get their new house outside of London fully renovated before their first anniversary at summer's end in September. According to the latest gossip news updates, Batman's new wife has given him the option of either getting them all moved in in the next few months or else having to deal with a very public split. Despite being an international lawyer, who travels the world over for business, the London lawyer is said to truly loath not having an actual home from which to operate when she isn't having to jump on a jet to go save the world.
It sounds absolutely bananas given her well-known reputation the world over as a international human rights lawyer, but Amal Alamuddin is now said to be absolutely livid with her husband, George Clooney, for failing to have their estate in England fully renovated nearly eight-months after tying the knot in Venice, Italy last September.
One source claiming to be close to Amal explains in the June 15, issue of InTouch Weekly that Alamuddin could not be more serious about finally having a proper home for them to settle down in:
"Amal is sick of living out of a suitcase...She has given him an ultimatum they have to move into their London house this summer -- or else!
"She wants him to make the contractor finish the renovation ASAP."
According to the informant, the real reason Amal has gotten so hung up on the idea of completing the house has to do with her delusion that once their English estate in complete all will be right in their marriage:
"She's convinced that one's they're settled, they'll be happy."
Needing a few months more to complete the work on the house seems fairly understandable given the sheer size and scale of the 5.5 acre paradise that Clooney bought for them just outside of London.
In the latest edition of Life & Style magazine, the 17th century treasure sounds more like a palace fit for some feudal lord than it does a movie star and his barrister wife:
"Known as the Aberdash House, the already extraordinary 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom home is only accessible by boat or a bridge.
"Visitors are greeted with stoic columns, vaulted ceilings, a grand marble-floored entrance, myriad fireplaces and a formal dining room with seating for 20.
"In addition to the main mansion, the property has a greenhouse, two self-contained guesthouses, a vegetable garden and a covered dock and boathouse and a free standing steam room."
Now does that really sound like the sort of project that you are going to be able to rush your way through?
