Not that the diehard fans of ABC's The Bachelor should take it to heart, but it turns out all the reports over the past few month that Chris Soules engagement to Season 19 winner, Whitney Bischoff, was a scam seems to be 100 percent true. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Dancing with the Stars alum and his former girlfriend are already thanking their Instagram and Twitter fans for all the support they've shown since their breakup earlier this week. Word has it that the couple wanted to announce their split before Prince Farming was even eliminated from Dancing with the Stars, but the network producers made them wait until after the 2015 premiere of The Bachelorette, as not to hurt the TV show's ratings.
Although it seemed that things were definitely over between Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff when his fiancé packed her bags and flew out of L.A. a full two weeks before the Iowa farmer and pro-partner Witney Carson were eliminated, Prince Farming recently took to Twitter to let his fans know that he very much appreciates their kind words during this trying time:
"I can't thank you all enough for the kind messages over the past few days.
"This has been really tough and your support means a lot to me.
A source claiming to have all the behind-the-scenes details explained to Radar Online, that Whitney might have been the one to finally call it, but it was clear almost from day one that Chris really wasn't the gentleman farmer he pretended to be while on The Bachelor:
"It got worse after appearing on Dancing with the Stars.
"Whitney didn't like the change in Chris, and he just didn't care. His ego was out of control, and Chris was also incredibly cheap."
"Chris refused to buy Whitney a plane ticket to see him in Iowa, forcing her to drive from Chicago!
"After arriving, it became obvious that Chris didn't care about the relationship."
Thankfully, Whitney didn't get "all woe is me" the way Chris did when she thanked her followers for their support on Instagram -- instead pairing the message with a more glass-half-full picture of a little happy girl:
"Now this little gal knows how to make me smile!
"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your outpouring love, kindness and support! It means so much to me!"
Someone needs to let Chris Soules know that now that it's all over he can stop pretending to be devastated that he wasn't forced into a marriage he clearly never really wanted.
