It seems that all the stress from her court battle with ex-boyfriend Nick Loeb could be spilling over into Sofia Vergara's professional life. According to the latest gossip news updates, Joe Manganiello's fiancé is feuding with some of her Modern Family cast mates as the condiment king tries to convince the California Court to give him full-custody of the fertilized embryos he and Instagram bikini model once had frozen together. In the months following their initial split, Loeb has openly argued that keeping the two eggs frozen in equivalent to a double abortion, while Sofia insists that bringing children into the world without having a proper family in place to love and take care of them in selfish and irresponsible.
Nick Loeb won a small victory in court last week, reports the Huffington Post, when it was decided that he could sue his ex-girlfriend, Sofia Vergara, for full-custody of the embryos they created together back when they were still dating.
Despite the fact that Loeb's case is continuing to move forward, Sofia's lawyer, Fred Silberberg, told Entertainment Tonight, that Nick was only trying to bring more attention to himself at Vergara expense, now that things are finally over between them:
"[The] plaintiff is using this lawsuit to continue to attack [Vergara] in the press and continue to have his own visibility in the press.
"There is no legal issue...Embryos are not children."
Although Sofia has the reputation for being one of the nicest as well as the highest paid people on network television, a source close to the Modern Family cast and crew reveals in the June 8, issue of InTouch Weekly that as of late the onset tensions have been taking their toll on everyone:
"There's a lot of drama of the set.
"Sofia hates Eric [Stonestreet]...he's become a real diva.
"And everyone thinks that Julie [Bowen] is annoying.
"Ed [O'Neil] keeps to himself so he doesn't get caught up in all the drama -- they're not like one big family in real life."
Whatever happens on the set of Modern Family, let's hope that Sofia's friends give her the support she needs as she goes up against the supposedly diabolical Nick Loeb in court later on this year.
