Instead of getting involved in the legal feud playing out between his Modern Family fiancé and her ex-boyfriend, True Blood werewolf, Joe Manganiello seems to be getting ready for their wedding. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Magic Mike XXL stripper has put his Hollywood bachelor pad on the market in anticipation of moving in with Sofia Vergara permanently once they get married. It can't be easy sitting quietly by, however, while his Hot Pursuit bride-to-be gets her name dragged through the mud by condiment tycoon, Nick Loeb, who is accusing Sofia of planning to murder their frozen fertilized embryos just as soon as she gets the chance.
If Nick Loeb was looking to win new friends and influence people with his recent accusations in court that Sofia Vergara is trying to murder their unborn children, it doesn't seem to be working.
While Nick's lawyer's insists this is going to be some precedent setting case, Sofia's Modern Family costar, Julia Bowen told the NY Daily News that it also looked like Vergara's not-so-nice ex-boyfriend was trying to once again rain on her parade as well:
"I am so sad that on the eve of all of her great happiness that had to happen, but at the same time, I know that she will be perfectly fine.
"I mean she's sort of amazed...I think she's a bit shocked because it kind of came out of nowhere.
"But she's a great person. And she's with a great guy...now.
"That's what I have to say about that."
While Sofia's lawyers have dismissed Nick's claims as nonsense -- pointing out that their prearranged directive only allows something to be done with the eggs if both parties agree to it -- a friend of Vergara's explains in the May 4, issue of OK! Magazine that the TV starlet fears this will affect things with her new fiancé, Joe Manganiello:
"Sofia's heartbroken...She can't believe Nick would do this. It's all the more painful because she wants to start a family with Joe."
For his part, Manganiello has seemingly doubled down on his intentions to marry Sofia since the suit came to light -- as Yahoo! News reports putting his Hollywood home up for sale in order to move in full-time with his bride:
"As he prepares for his wedding to Sofia Vergara, Mr. Magic Mike XXL is giving up a huge piece of his single life: his bachelor pad.
"The True Blood star purchased the 2,500 square-foot, 4-bedroom, 3-bath property for $1.8 million in 2013, and it's packed with amenities from a fire pit to a pool.
"The star has listed the Hollywood Hills house, built in 1963, for $1.995 million."
It may be true that Nick Loeb will always have more money than Joe Manganiello, but he'll never has his class.
