Poonam started out as a model. She was a particpant in the 4th season of the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. She was also nominated for the 5th edition of the reality show, Big Boss.
As a model, Poonam Pandey has appeared many times in the Kingfisher calendar. In 2011, she mainly occupied her time modeling for various outlets. Poonam would appear in her first film in 2011. Nasha would be her first starring vehicle and was directed by Amit Saxena. She has also signed on for the sequel.
Apart from Nasha, Poonam appeared in DJ Vipin’s music remix video Club Troppin.
As stated earlier, Poonam has courted controversy with her antics in the conservative. When she was denied the opportunity to strip for the Indian cricket team, Poonam posted pictures of herself on her website nonetheless and dedicated the pictures to the Indian team. I think it is pretty safe to say that Poonam is a big cricket fan.
