Salman Khan is free from jail, at least until his next court hearing in July. The Bollywood mega-star is out on bail for the recent conviction for culpable homicide, and the 5-year prison sentence has been commuted pending the next hearing set for July. The actor is free to come and go as he pleases, so long as he doesn't leave the country. The question that begs to be asked is who, besides Khan, is happiest he is not serving time right now? Who stands to gain the most from his freedom?
1. Kareena Kapoor Khan - The co-star of Khan's next big film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, whose film work has been declining the past couple of years, will be on full view. Paired together for the first time in a long time, Kareena and Salman will once again scorch the screen in what is being touted as one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. Thus, the audience will have a chance to fall in love with the beautiful actress all over again.
2. Sooraj Barjatva - The director and Khan teamed up for the first time in 15 years for the not yet released film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. This highly anticipated film is sure box office gold. A costume drama, it is a drastic switch from Khan's previous roles, and publicity for it has been in overdrive from the beginning..
3. Sonam Kapoor - Sonam is the co-star of Khan in the aforementioned Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Box office poison to date, she is in need of a hit and the big budget film may just be that.
4. Eros Now - The distribution company has the global rights of Khan's much anticipated film Bajrangi Bhailaan. No need to hire a publicity agent for the film, Salman Khan has provided plenty free of charge.
