WWE 'Tough Enough' Premiers Back on USA With Hogan, Cena and Host Jericho

The program WWE Tough Enough is back again on the USA Network. The show will be hosted by Chris Jericho with other current and former WWE stars to join him. Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige will be on hand as a panel of experts. The show will also feature trainers Booker T, Lita, and Billy Gunn, with guest spots from John Cena and Triple H, among others. The resurrected show premiers on the USA Network on June 23.

WWE Tough Enough is a reality contest show that has wrestling hopefuls perform for the chance to win a one-year WWE contract worth $250,000. The difference between previous seasons and this upcoming one is that the show will be embracing technology and social media to determine outcomes.

WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn has high expectations according to Wrestle Zone:

"This season of WWE TOUGH ENOUGH will be the most innovative, unique and engaging series on television. A live global telecast, real-time voting with immediate results, and unprecedented use of digital and social media during and between telecasts will all lead to a groundbreaking viewing experience."

The show seemed to have found a home on the USA Network after previously being on MTV and UPN. The excitement of Jessica Sebastian, Vice President of Unscripted Series for USA Network, was reported by IGN:

"These athletes, each with varying skill sets, will be put through a grueling boot camp that will test their physical, mental and emotional limits in a way that the series hasn't done before. Each week, their training and experience culminates in a spectacular live event where they will be put in front of their WWE heroes and an audience of fans. In this reimagined version of Tough Enough only the best will survive."
