Tonight, Bones is all new with two back to back episodes. The long running series has not been renewed or canceled, but pregnant star, Emily Deschanel would like to see it renewed for Season 11.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new, back to back, episodes of Bones, titled “The Lost in the Found; The Verdict in the Victims,” reads:
“A private high-school student's remains are found in a ditch, and bullying may have played a role in her death, but Brennan isn't so sure it's murder when she finds similarities between her own teen years and the victim's. In the second hour, the execution of convicted serial killer Alex Rockwell is just 48 hours away, but Brennan begins to have doubts about his guilt.”
Counting tonight’s two, there are only four episode so of Bones Season 10 left. The show has yet to be renewed or canceled, and it still unknown if this is the final season of the long running series. Earlier in the year, Emily Deschanel spoke to TV Line about wanting to see the show renewed for another year:
“I feel like we still have stories to tell. We’re still going strong. I would like to see where we take it. I think there’s a strong possibility of a Season 11. We have not been picked up officially. There’s a lot of factors that they’re trying to figure out. But I think everyone’s interested in continuing to tell the story. I don’t know how much longer after Season 11 it would go, but it’d be nice to explore it for at least one more year.”
